Get Fired Up - Mala Bracelet Giveaway

The response to the newest collection of mala bracelets has been wonderful, so I created a special little mala to give away this month!

It is created with 27 beads of mixed faceted fiery red agate and wood with a rudraksha guru bead and Om charm. Red agate is a stimulating stone that can enhance strength, vitality as well an induce calm. And who couldn't use a little of that for the new year? :)

To Enter (please complete all to be qualified and make sure there is a way I can reach you!):

1. Comment on this blog post. Tell me what gets you "fired up" to be your best self each day. Your dog? Your significant other? Your Guru? Your morning coffee?

2. Connect with me and like the Jewels Of Saraswati page. (And while you are there do say hello!)

3.  Click the social media icons on this blog and share the love so your friends can have a chance at winning too!

This giveaway ends 2/19/12.

Love and Light!
Lauren (Saraswati)

  9. Working on my second book currently has me totally fired up - can't stop thinking about it, wake up in the middle of the night filled with ideas. Writing is, of course, the hard part, but even that intrigues and inspires putting fire in my belly and enthusiasm in my spirit.

  10. I would have to say that my kids and my soulmate get me fired up. There is a long list of other things but family is at the top for sure.

  11. My students fire me up. Their faces when they lift off up in crow for the first time. Their braveness to try new things, their courageous heart and trust for allowing me to guide them throughout the practice. My students teach me so much more than I teach them. I am truly blessed to serve and incredibly lucky to have found yoga.

  13. What fires me up to do my best is knowing that all my thoughts, actions and deeds affect everyone around me. This infinite web is a delicate one and the energy I put out there should leave a graceful, benevolent wake...one that inspires others to do their best so that the entire web of us is gleaming with light and love.

  23. I get fired up whether I feel like it or not, it is my daughter. With my illness, most days are a challenge. Litlle/to no sleep, chronic pain, emiotional ups and downs due to being exhausted and the all over debilibating pain. My daughter helps me, motivates me, Her kindness, loving, caring and sharing heart and selflessness is amazing. For a soon to be 17 year old, she's far wiser than her years. We've been through quite a bit the last 3-4 yrs and she has stuck by my side, encouraging me, pushing me in my wheelchair, and overall always thinking about me. I owe it to her. I end up at the end of the day doing way too much (yesterday) and she does yell to let me know she's upset with me. I owe it to my daughter. I WILL get through this and be the very hyper, motivated, successful, charming, loud, Type A person I once was. But, going through this illness I've discovered that a bit of relaxation, calmness, yoga, meditation and being in the Now....sure does work and brings my daughter and I closer than a few previous options! I thank you for your generous donation to all of us on the site. I personally thank you and very much appreciate it.
    Much Love and Peace.

  25. Beautiful mala bracelet!! Every day my prescription for 'getting all fired up' is a cuddle and walk with Jasper (named after the crystal!) my cavalier king charles, connecting with nature - the trees, birds, weather, followed by a cappuccino and reading inspirational Angelic Guidance :-)

  26. My daughters get me fired up, that's for sure. Sometimes not in a good way :-) But I remember that every breath is the perfect time to start over. I love my girls and my love for them is the main driving factor in my life, especially since I lost my mom 11 1/2 years ago.

  28. Beautiful Dyamond told me about your give away. I live in Europe, am I still allowed to take part? I hope so because this mala just looks like the one I've always dreamed of.
What gets me fired up in the morning is breathing. I know it sounds simple but when I wake up, I love to become present again in the now and take my 1st conscious deep breathe before opening my eyes. Although it only takes a couple seconds, this instant seems to last forever. It allows me to remember my dreams, give them the ending I want, feel the warmth of my sheets and the coolness of my room, feel the rays of the sun warming up my windows, gathering all the positive energies that circulated around me during the night - put them in my chakras. And here I am, ready to glow and shine!

    Thanks again.

  29. In November I nearly took my life and the life of loved ones due to major depression. With the help of a friend, I got myself to a hospital and I signed myself onto a locked psych ward so that the healer could heal [I am a reiki master healer/lightworker]

So. What fires me up in the mornings? That my eyes are open and I am breathing. That my loved ones are here and Love Me. But most of all, that I am alive.
